All Grown Up by Vi Keeland Review & Similarities with other  Books

vi keeland booksThis books starts off as a slow burn but just continue reading as it is unquestionably worth the wait. Seeing their chemistry flare as they dwell into this slightly taboo relationship is exciting. You get to see Valentina’s hesitation about Ford at first since he is only a couple of years older than her own son. However, you want to keep reading and hope that Valentina gets to the point where she just gives in and allows herself to have fun without caring about the different in their ages. There are many twists that you don’t even see coming and every single one catches you off guard and surprises you, causing you to want to keep reading. The other character in this book are amazing too, Valentina’s best friend who’s called Eve, well, let’s just say she’s a great friend who we all would want in our lives to be there for us.

The main character are complex and have so much going on in their lives and they both have been through so much. This is just one of the reasons you fall for both of them, and just want them to find happiness. Valentina is a divorced women who is trying to figure out who she is, after she got divorced from her high school sweetheart after being married for 20 years and having a child together. Never having to go on dates for that long, well, let’s just say she doesn’t have much experience in this field and has a hard time navigating through it.

Ford, however, is relentless in his pursuit of Valentina and does so much to help her find herself and regain the confidence that she should have. Ford is Valentina’s neighbor from her summer home, which makes it difficult for her to meet with him when they first decide to meet with each other at a restaurant after exchanging messages on an online dating website. However, Ford is a gentleman and very charming and this causes the sparks to fly and many things happen which I wouldn’t want to spoil. Read the book yourself and see what I’m talking about, I’m sure you will not be disappointed with the moments they share with each other.

Ford is a breath of fresh air from all the other leading male characters in romance books which are portrayed as very alpha and not very gentlemanly. This male lead (Ford) is wise and charming, but also has a lewd mind and many dirty thoughts. His and Valentina’s online message exchanges show this to be true, as you can see the provocativeness in their interactions. This only increases the yearning for them to finally get together and let loose.
While you read this book, you will be made to experience so many different kind of emotions, it’s a roller coaster ride and you will want to feel them as they are what makes this book so addicting. You will feel happy, sad, confused, desperate, passionate, and so much more through out your read through of this incredible book. It would be a surprise if Valentina and Ford weren’t you two favorite Vi Keeland characters after you finish reading the book.
This book has great pacing and doesn’t allow you to get bored. This book is a must read and the perfect summer read to just sit down, relax, and undertake this steamy, erotic, and romantic story and just let the hours pass you by as you’re engulfed in this amazing read.

All Grown Up is a new experience, something different from other books you have likely read. This unique experience doesn’t waste any words, it doesn’t waste your time. Every word, every sentence, every page pull you in that much more. That’s why you need to read this book. That, and all the other steamy moments that you will not be able to get enough of. The banter that these two characters share, it makes you want to be there with them, to be actually able to speak with them and get to know them even more than what the book tells you about them. It really goes to show why Vi Keeland is a #1 New York Time Bestseller, it’s the way she pulls you into her books and doesn’t let go.

As with everything, there are also negatives with this book. As I have mentioned before, this book starts of slow. Even though this does make you keep reading so you can get to the climaxes, this book could reach those parts in a faster amount of time. So, if you enjoy getting into the juicy details as soon as possible, then, get ready to read as fast as you can so you can finally get that release of emotions that the story pushes into you while reading.

All in all, I think this book is an incredible read and that if you are looking for a romance book then this is it. It is a must read which you can check out here.
